The bounce off values in war thunder are far to exaggerated. The soft warhead surface, combined with the type of ignition wouldn't let it bounce like it does in WT.The unlockable M393A2 HESH round has potentially more post-penetration damage than the other options, however it has the worst ballistics, the lowest penetration, and is the most difficult to use as a result. For best results, it should be aimed at hull or turret sides and roofs, taking care not to hit ERA, composite armour, or spaced armour.This shell functions as high explosive ammunition with very high penetration, and behaves the same way -- if it does not penetrate, it will explode on the surface of the armour, dealing marginal damage. It also deals additional damage to modules and crew.
