2024 Imessage has notifications silenced

iPhone 13 pro with iOS 15.0.1 installed. For some reason iMessage is telling people that notifications are silenced however focus mode is off. I’ve tried resetting the phone, turning focus mode on and off but it’s still saying notifications are silenced. Any idea if this is a bug or what? Both me and my wife had that.
